Mr. Howell is from the Midwest, born in the suburbs of Chicago. He fell in love with math in his early years and later took an intro to number theory class where he spent some time working with elementary cryptology, and relationships within math. Mr. Howell was homeschooled, until attending and receiving two Associate degrees from Missouri State University. After Graduation, he worked for MSU-WP in the math department as a Teaching Assistant and Supplemental Instructor. Mr. Howell completed a BS in Applied Mathematics from Indiana University East online while employed at MSU-WP. Mr. Howell has worked with thousands of students and has helped many overcome their own obstacles in mathematics. Mr. Howell enjoys coming alongside students to help them be successful in their pursuits. Mr. Howell is currently working on his graduate degree in mathematics.
Joshua Edgren grew up in a rainforest in western Washington. He earned his B.S. in Physics from Union University and spent a summer at the Center for Astrophysics, Space Physics, and Engineering Research at Baylor University characterizing the diagnostics of a high-enthalpy plasma generator. While earning his degree, he also managed to convince a beautiful redhead named Kelsie to marry him, and they now have three delightful and very energetic children. Joshua spent four years as an educator at a classical Christian school where he taught nearly every math or science class imaginable, directed five of Shakespeare’s plays, and instructed a padded weapons program for boys. He has also taught Physics and Physical Science online. Joshua enjoys woodworking, reading aloud to his wife and children, and playing complicated board games. He is currently enrolled in Greyfriars Hall Ministerial Training Program with Christ Church.
Rachel Guisewite moved to Moscow, ID, in 2001. She received her MA in Theology and Letters from New Saint Andrew’s College in 2019. She and her husband, Makiah, now live in Troy, ID (about fifteen minutes’ drive from The Jubilee School in Moscow) where they love working on classic cars and developing their own math curriculum.
